Vernice "Kay" Kranzler Cancer Information Management (CIM) Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in the memory of Vernice Kay Kranzler who passed away on December 5, 2007 after a lengthy and challenging battle with cancer. Kay never was able to get a college degree for herself, but she greatly admired her children for their educational accomplishments. She saw the financial struggles her daughter endured as a non-traditional physician assistant and it is only fitting that her legacy live on by helping deserving Scott Community College students in the Cancer Information Management program.
Student must be enrolled in the CIM program, be a non-traditional student, have unmet financial need, be enrolled full- or part-time, show academic promise, and show the ability to succeed in their career field.
