Deserving Student Scholarship - For Incoming High School Students

In 2011, the SCC Foundation established this general scholarship to help deserving students who have financial need, show academic promise, and demonstrate a commitment to completion in their chosen field of study.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Have a high school GPA of 2.5 or greater
• Show academic promise to compete their degree/certificate program
• Demonstrate financial need

Students selected as recipients for this scholarship will be asked to complete up to 5 hours of volunteer work for the Foundation Office during the semester in which the scholarship is awarded. Students will be contacted by email throughout the semester as volunteer opportunities become available.

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for the fall semester.
