Chuck Mooney/ William Stradt/ Rich & Dee James Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the Bettendorf Noon Rotary to provide assistance for students in any program at Scott Community College.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Are enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more)
  • Graduated either from Bettendorf, Pleasant Valley or Rivermont High School
  • Demonstrates academic achievement and participation in extra-curricular or community activities
  • Demonstrates financial need
  • Provide one reference from a college or high school faculty member and a second reference from an individual external to SCC

Students who receive the Bettendorf Noon Rotary Scholarship are required to attend at least one Bettendorf Noon Rotary meeting during the Fall award semester.

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is split evenly between the Fall 2025 and the Spring 2026 semesters.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
