Pacia Sauer Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was created as a tribute by the family, friends, and colleagues of Pacia Ann Sauer. Pacia was the secretary to the EICCD Board of Trustees and assistant to the Chancellor of the Eastern Iowa Community College District, where she was employed for 25 years. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the church’s women’s group, the Davenport Chamber of Commerce – Women’s Division, and former member of the Bettendorf Symphony. She had been active in the Bettendorf Community Theater and her hobbies included writing poetry, camping, and music. The intent of the scholarship is to reward and assist mature students that have returned to receive their post-secondary education in order to improve their lives.
Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:
- Show commitment to continuing their education and have a goal to attend a four-year college or university following their completion at Scott Community College
- Are a non-traditional student
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.25 or higher
Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is split evenly between the Fall 2025 and the Spring 2026 semesters.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
