National Association of Women in Construction - Quad Cities Chapter 50

The Quad City Chapter #50 of the National Association of Women in Construction has scholarships available for students interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry (e.g. architecture, landscape architecture; interior design; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering; drafting; or construction management.) The core purpose of NAWIC is to enhance the success of women in construction. This fund may be used at any college or vocational school. To qualify for the scholarships, the applicant must fulfill the following requirements:

  • The applicant must enroll in a construction industry related program in a university, college, or vocational/trade school.
  • A college applicant must be a full time student with a minimum of 12 hours enrollment per semester/trimester/quarter.
  • The applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 (based on a 4.0 system).
  • The applicant must submit with the application a copy (scanned or photocopy) of school transcripts through the fall semester.
  • The applicant cannot be a member of NAWIC.
  • Applications should be filled out completely and returned as instructed in the application by August 26, 2022. Scholarship recipients will be notified as soon as possible after that date.
