WGN Advancement Scholarship - Current Student

Established by the Scott Community College (SCC) Foundation Women’s Giving Network, this scholarship is to support a female student attending SCC.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Are currently attending courses at one of the SCC campuses (not an on-line student)
  • Indicated they are female on their SCC College Admission Application
  • Show financial need

The recipient of this award will be required to attend the Women’s Giving Network’s annual spring luncheon/dinner.

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is split evenly between the Fall 2026 and the Spring 2027 semesters.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2027 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
