Mighty Monarch Culinary Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Chef Matt Fenton, Head Chef of Monarch – Kitchen & Bar in Davenport, Iowa. Chef Fenton achieved his culinary dream thanks in part to the scholarship support he received. This scholarship has been established to pass along this opportunity to a culinary student aspiring to find their path and achieve their culinary dreams.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Are enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program (AAS or Diploma)
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Scholarship Use
This scholarship is awarded for the spring 2026 semester.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
