Gullion Future Educators Scholarship

This scholarship was created in 2017 by Nikki Buzzell to support students studying education at Scott Community College. Nikki is EICC’s District Program Developer for Education and the Education Department Chair and Instructor. This scholarship was established by Nikki to give students in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Secondary Education the support they need to be successful in educating our future generations.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, AA or Secondary Education, AA
  • Demonstrate academic achievement with a 3.0 GPA or higher

Scholarship Use
This scholarship is awarded for the spring 2026 semester.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
