LULAC Scholarship

Every year LULAC awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to Hispanic and other students. Since 1978 LULAC Council #10 has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to over 800 students. Funds are raised by Council 10 locally through weekly BINGO nights, the annual Fiesta, an annual golf outing and an annual poker tournament, corporate sponsors, individual donations and a few other local events.

Scholarship applications are open to incoming college freshman and current college students residing in the Quad City area. The Quad Cities metropolitan area includes Davenport, Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley in Iowa; and Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Silvis and Milan in Illinois.

The LULAC Scholarship 2022 Application is now available. Please read the directions and criteria carefully. Do not forget to sign the application. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 31 MARCH 2022. Late applications or incomplete applications will not be accepted. This is a matching-fund scholarship. The Scott Community College (SCC) Foundation will provide matching funds to any recipients of this scholarship attending SCC.
