Lenny Stone Memorial Scholarship

L.E. “Lenny” Stone served EICCD from 1996-2001 as an instructor, department chair, President of Scott Community College (1986-2001) and EICCD’s Vice Chancellor. Lenny always sought opportunities for personal and professional education, and he was credited with moving the college forward into the Technological Age. This scholarship was established by the Scott Community College Foundation, friends, and family of Lenny Stone who gifted toward this scholarship fund in his memory.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Are graduating seniors who rank in the upper quartile of their class during their last 2 terms
• Have an ACT composite of 23 or higher

Scholarship Use
This scholarship is awarded for the Fall 2025 semester.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
