Dorothy M. Miller Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established to honor the memory of Dorothy M. Miller by her husband and family. It is intended to encourage young people by challenging them to commit to the work and study involved with seeking a post secondary degree or certification and becoming a life-long learner.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Graduated from an area high school in the top 60% of their class, or have attained a HiSET total combined score of 60 (GED Composite Test Score of 2500) or higher through EICC
  • Are enrolled in 12 credit hours
  • Show academic promise.

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is split evenly between the Fall 2025 and the Spring 2026 semesters.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
