HVAC Scholarship

This scholarship fund was initially established by Mark Lewis, HVAC instructor, and the 1994 second-year HVAC students through community service and support of area contractors and suppliers. Over the years support continues to this fund by John Blair, HVAC instructor, and other college faculty and staff members. It is intended to provide financial assistance and recognition to students in the HVAC program.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Have completed one semester in the HVAC program
• Show academic promise
• Have unmet financial need,
• Show commitment to their program as indicated on the application
• Are involved in community service and/or college organizations as indicated on the application

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for the 2025 spring semester.
The scholarship award will go towards your tuition costs first, with the remaining amount available for you to use towards books and/or supplies. To use any remaining dollars for tools, you will need to work with the SCC Foundation Office. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the spring semester.
