John Deere STEM Scholarship

This scholarship was established by John Deere in 2014 to support area high school students planning to attend Scott Community College for Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math transfer degrees.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Are an incoming high school senior from one of the Iowa or Illinois Quad Cities high schools
• Have a cumulative GPA or 3.0 or greater
• Are enrolled or enrolling in one of the following STEM transfer programs: Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, Physics, or Pre-Engineering
• Demonstrate unmet financial need

Scholarship Use
This scholarship is awarded for the Fall 2025 semester.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.
