Car Show Scholarship

The first auto show, Cruisin’ into the Valley, was held September 1992. Profits from the event were used to establish scholarships for SCC students enrolled in HVAC, Auto Collision Repair, Auto Technology, and Diesel Technology.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more)
• Enrolled in one of the following programs: Auto Technology, HVAC, and Diesel Technology
• Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
• Have Financial Need
• Provide two references from instructors in their program of study

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for the 2025 spring semester.
The scholarship award will go towards your tuition costs first, with the remaining amount available for you to use towards books and/or supplies. To use any remaining dollars for tools, you will need to work with the SCC Foundation Office. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the spring semester.
