Rich & Carol Quinn Honors Scholarship
This scholarship is sponsored by Rich Quinn in memory of his wife, Carol. This scholarship provides funding for tuition and books for Scott Community College students who are Honors Program participants. The Honors Program provides students excellent opportunities to network, become more involved in the community, and overall become well-rounded student leaders sought by both academia and the world of work.
Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:
- Have a minimum 3.5 GPA
- Have been accepted and are participating in the Honors Program
- Provide two Scott Community College faculty references
- Financial need is NOT a preference for the student awarded this scholarship
Scholarship Use
This scholarship is awarded for the Fall 2025 semester.
Scholarship awards will be applied to your tuition, books, and fees first. For more information on how to use your remaining scholarship dollars, please reach out to the SCC Foundation. Any rollover dollars must be used by the end of the Spring 2026 semester. SCC Foundation scholarships are non-transferable.

- Will you be enrolled in the Honors Program at SCC for the upcoming semester? (The Honors Program consists of three core components: Honors Seminars, Honors Independent Studies, and Honors Service Projects. Phi Theta Kappa membership or being named to the President's or Dean's list are NOT a part of the Honors Program. Details can be found here.)
