William Butterworth Foundation Scholarship
This award was established by the William Butterworth Foundation in 2018 in support of the organization’s mission to leveraging their strong heritage and valuable resources to actively support artistic, charitable, cultural and educational endeavors that enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in the greater Quad Cities community. The intent of this award is to provide tuition support to both traditional and non-traditional students studying at Scott Community College in either fine arts or education.
Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Rock Island or Scott county
- Are enrolled in one of the following programs:
– Fine Arts/Art – AA
– Fine Arts/Drama – AA
– Early Childhood Education – AAS, CERT, DPL
– Elementary Education – AA
– Education – AA - Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Are a non-traditional student
- Have previously received this scholarship
Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for the fall semester.
