WGN Advancement Scholarship - Non-traditional Student

Established by the Scott Community College Foundation Women’s Giving Network, this scholarship is to support a non-traditional female student beginning a college education.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Are currently attending courses at one of the SCC campuses (not an on-line student)
• Are a non-traditional student returning to school with no previous post-secondary degrees or credits
• Indicated they are female on their SCC College Admission Application
• Show financial need

The recipient of this award will be required to attend the Women’s Giving Network’s annual spring luncheon/dinner.

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for two semesters. Half of the award will be added to your student account for the upcoming fall semester and the second half will be added for the following spring semester.
