Stan & Elizabeth (Betty) McCarthy Reeg

In 2017, Stan and Betty Reeg contributed to the EICC Urban Campus Campaign in support of the Stan & Betty Reeg Scholarship. This support will have a lasting impact on deserving students attending Scott Community College for years to come. Notably the Reeg’s are fans of the quote by Enzo Ferrari, “If you can dream it, you can do it”, and thanks to their help our student’s educational dream will become reality.

Stan & Betty established the Elizabeth McCarthy Reeg Nursing Scholarship in 2018 to support students in the Nursing Program. Betty began her nursing career as an OBGYN nurse. However, like so many other nurses, she found herself working in many different fields of health care, from school nurse to administrator as her children grew. Now the mother of two and grandmother of four, Betty hopes to give others the support they need to know they too can be successful.
