Iowa Quad Cities Rotary

In June 2013, the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary established the Paul N. Lensmeyer Memorial Scholarship in support of the organization’s longtime member and friend, Paul N. Lensmeyer and the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary Scholarship in support of a deserving Scott resident attending classes full-time at Scott Community College. In 2016, the Rotary established two additional scholarships: the Bruce Katz Leadership Scholarship and the Harold “Bisch” Bischman “Service Above Self” Scholarship to honor the Rotarians. In 2020, the Rotary established another scholarship in memory of one of their past presidents, Larry Barker titled the Lawrence E. (Larry) Barker Memorial “Good Steward” Scholarship. In 2022, the Rotary established a sixth scholarship, Doug & Lou Peterson “Mr. & Mrs. Rotary” Recognition Scholarship.
