Iowa Quad Cities Rotary - Bruce Katz Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship was created in 2016 by members of the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary in memory of Bruce Katz. Mr. Katz was a charter member of the Iowa Quad Cities Rotary Club, having served on the board for many years before his passing, and was one of the club’s first presidents. His leadership and development of projects, events, and programs is still an integral part of the club today. He helped establish the club’s: “Challenger Little League” program, the local scholarship endowment fund, and the “Veterans for Veterans Housing” program. He was honored as being the club’s first “Rotarian of the Year”. His life exemplified “leadership” and it is fitting to provide this scholarship in his name.
