Courtney & Otavio Hegouet Scholarship

In November 2008, Otavio Hegouet, an SCC alumnus, and his wife, Courtney, established this scholarship. While attending Scott Community College between 2000 and 2003, Otavio recalled fondly the value he received from his sport scholarship and from working at the college switchboard. However, he remembers those students who were not as fortunate to whom he and his wife would like to honor through the establishment of this scholarship.

Preference will be given to students who meet the following criteria:

• Have an EICC or high school GPA of 3.0 or higher or GED score of 2400 or higher (HiSET of 55)
• Are a single parent
• Work outside the home at least 20 hours per week
• Enrolled full-time

Scholarship Use
This scholarship award is for the fall semester.
